Tinnitus Cases

Over the years in my private practice, many people have asked me for help with their Tinnitus and there is usually something I can do to make a difference, either directly or indirectly.

Here are some real-life, genuine examples of those I have helped, which I hope gives you an idea of what is possible.

Tinnitus Success - Example 1

A professional Lady presented herself stating she had been diagnosed with tinnitus. She was tearful, fearful and feeling completely out of control.

I asked her a few questions about how this all came about and this lead me onto a particular course of treatment. Using a special form of hypnosis/hypnotherapy I helped her tap into what seemed to be the underlying cause of her tinnitus and resolve it there.

This was successful, and she informed me a week or so later that no further appointment was necessary as she was happy to report that her tinnitus had gone. (Very nice when it is this easy!)

(The full method used is explained on the Tinnitus Improvement Program and there is an exercise for you to begin this process yourself).

Tinnitus Success - Example 2

A young school teacher explained how her tinnitus had come on suddenly in a hot-tub, whilst relaxing on holiday. It had stayed ever since.

We did about  four sessions overall to help her learn the special exercises and again look into why this particular symptom has been prevented from healing. As we dealt with and resolved these issues, her tinnitus began to ease.

Later, in a follow-up email, she told me…

“…  I’ve had times when I haven’t heard it. It definitely has calmed down at night, I hardly hear it now (it is very faint or not there), which is really nice to get some peace at night!

Hopefully it will carry on, it has definitely improved and it doesn’t distract me as much as it did.”

[The special exercises and the Inner Resolution Method mentioned, are all included in the Tinnitus Improvement Program].

Tinnitus Success - Example 3

A motorcycle journalist explained how the ringing in his ears (probably from noise exposure) had become more distressing at night, preventing him from sleeping properly.

We went through a few exercises and there were a few pointers indicating a possible course of action, but he was due to go away on a trip soon, making that approach difficult.

We focused on the special relaxation exercises, designed to reduce stress, tension and anxiety and he soon reported that his Tinnitus was sufficiently back under control, enabling him to sleep better, so that no further treatment was required at that time.

[Again, the exercises are included in the Tinnitus Improvement Program]
